He has a degree in Communication Design from the School of Fine Arts of Lisbon (1989), a master's degree in Business Sciences, specialization in Management - INDEG-IUL ISCTE (1995) and a PhD in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (2012). He is currently an adjunct, class c, level 2 at the Federal University of Ceará. Has experience in Information Science, with emphasis on Information Representation, working mainly on the following topics: information design, environmental design, urban signage, kinetic typography and visualization.
