The new digital-based technologies have raised questions regarding the production and meaning of images in different fields of knowledge. In the Applied Social Sciences it is no different. In the Department of Architecture, Urbanism and Design of the Federal University of Ceará, the LED (Laboratory of Digital Experience) will be the space for reflections on this issue. As a research group, LED proposes to investigate the design and planning processes used by Architecture, Urbanism and Design in the scope of conception, development and materialization, crafting devices and fostering computational thinking. Also, the lab, which includes the Digital Factory and the Digital Atelier, promotes experiences in virtual spaces of immersion and fabrication of models in rapid prototyping, systematizing the necessary knowledge for the teaching of Architecture, Urbanism and Design, empowering future professionals and contributing to the formation of new researchers.
